Gatherer has chosen Down In A Hole - Alice In Chains as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Hunter Gatherer enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gatherer misses with an uppercut.
Britton swings for the body but Gatherer moves out of range.
Gatherer lands a nice shot to the body.
Nice defenses there by Gatherer.
Britton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gatherer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Britton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Britton moves away from the strike by Gatherer.
Gatherer closes the distance and pushes Britton back into the cage.
Gatherer tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Britton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gatherer walks away with a smile on his face. Britton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Good leg kick by Gatherer there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Britton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gatherer unleashes a big counter combination but Britton bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Britton throws a series of punches but Gatherer avoids them all with ease.
Gatherer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gatherer walks into a stiff left hand from Britton.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Britton lands with a cross.
It looks like Hunter Gatherer has been cut.
Gatherer takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Gatherer lands a leg kick that knocks Britton off balance momentarily.

Britton misses with a wild body shot.
Gatherer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Britton blocks a jab.
Britton swings for the body but Gatherer moves out of range.
Gatherer connects with an inside leg kick.
Gatherer throws a push kick but Britton slaps the foot to one side.
A counter left hand to the body from Britton misses its target.
Gatherer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Britton to score with a decent uppercut.
Britton checks a low kick from Gatherer.
Gatherer swings for the body but Britton moves out of range.
Britton misses with a wild combination.
A big left from Gatherer misses.
Gatherer showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Britton.
Britton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Britton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gatherer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Britton sizes up Gatherer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Britton wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Britton just misses with a punch to the body.
Gatherer misses with an uppercut. Britton saw that one coming.
Britton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gatherer moves away.
Gatherer stuns Britton with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Britton is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Gatherer is looking to slow Britton down with leg kicks.
A jab from Gatherer misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Britton misses the target.
Britton catches Gatherer napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Gatherer to the canvas!
Gatherer is rocked!
Britton postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Gatherer's head off the mat! Gatherer is out! He's out! Britton jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Tel Britton!
A very excited looking Tel Britton rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
