Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dag Daghammar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filipe Acosta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daghammar comes into the arena with Just like that - Dregen blaring out of the sound system. Acosta comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Saw Theme kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dag Daghammar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Filipe Acosta!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acosta fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Daghammar looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Daghammar slaps away a takedown attempt from Acosta, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Acosta rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Daghammar moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Daghammar misses the target.

Daghammar has been working on his boxing with his coaches at London MMA Club in the buildup to the fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Acosta throws out a loose jab but Daghammar uses good head movement to avoid it.
A little feinted left hand from Daghammar on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Filipe Acosta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circling - Acosta throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Daghammar throws a hook but Acosta blocks it.

A little jabbing left from Acosta on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Acosta ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daghammar moves away.
Daghammar moves out of range of the strikes.
Acosta throws a hook to the side of Daghammar's head but Daghammar sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Daghammar counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Acosta throws a body punch but Daghammar moves out of range.
Acosta looks to land a left hand but Daghammar moved out of range nicely.
Daghammar swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Daghammar walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dag Daghammar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Daghammar counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dag Daghammar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Filipe Acosta.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Acosta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Daghammar was well out of range. Poor timing from Acosta.
Acosta is trying hard to land a takedown here. Daghammar sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Daghammar lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Daghammar uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Acosta.
Acosta avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Nice takedown defense from Daghammar. No joy for Acosta on that attempt.

Acosta scores with the left hand. Daghammar knows he should have avoided that one.
Acosta fails to land with a series of punches.
Daghammar's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Acosta connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Daghammar scrambles back to his feet.
Daghammar sizes up Acosta with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
A big right from Acosta misses.
As Acosta looks to move away, Daghammar throws a big counter combo but Acosta just gets out of the way.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Acosta has Daghammar up against the cage in a clinch.

Acosta throws a body punch but Daghammar moves out of range.
It looked like Daghammar wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Nice jab there from Daghammar.
Daghammar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Acosta.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Filipe Acosta will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

As Acosta looks to move away, Daghammar throws a big counter combo but Acosta just gets out of the way.

and Daghammar scores with a counter punch that sends Acosta to the canvas! Daghammar smells blood - he's punishing Acosta with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Acosta has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dag Daghammar!
