Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Veron Totto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Totto has chosen Rob Zombie - Feel So Numb as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Daniel Williams had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Daniel Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 18 - 2, fighting out of New York, Veron Totto!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Totto throws a looping overhand right but Williams ducks down to avoid it.
Totto lands a leg kick that knocks Williams off balance momentarily.

Totto rushes Williams and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Totto wants to break the clinch but can't.
Williams lands with a right to the head.
Williams lands a shoulder strike.

Williams's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Veron Totto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Totto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center.
It looked like Williams was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Totto.
Totto connects with a body shot.
Totto misses with a left hand
and Williams counters with a two punch combo.
Williams avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Totto throws a lazy uppercut
and Williams counters with a good low kick that Totto was not able to check.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Totto lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Williams circles away quickly and effectively.
Williams was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Totto misses with a combination
and Williams counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Totto darts in trying to clinch
and Williams counters with a nice kick to the body.

Totto throws a lazy uppercut

and Williams counters with a nice right hand that sends Totto toppling to the canvas! Totto scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Williams finish him?!


Totto is rocked!
The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A countering left hand to the body from Totto misses.
Totto is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him?
Williams takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Totto seems to have recovered his senses.
Williams on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Totto misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Williams.
Totto lunges at Williams with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Williams's hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Williams walks into a straight right hand from Totto.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Totto, as that shot connected.

Totto closes the distance and clinches.
Williams pushes Totto back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Williams tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Totto avoids it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Williams breaks from the clinch.
Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by Totto.
Williams avoids a punch combination nicely.
Williams is looking to counter punch.
Williams scores with a jab to the body.
Totto tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Totto misses with a left hand
letting Williams counter with a right hand.
Williams lands with an overhand left.
A looping hook to the body misses from Williams. Totto does a little dance to reset his feet.
Decent striking displayed by Totto there.

Totto clinches up against the cage.

Williams displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Totto throws out the jab.

Totto is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Williams throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Totto throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Daniel Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Totto feints and then cracks Williams's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Williams down.
Totto lands with a thumping leg kick.

Williams takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Williams takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Totto throws a combination that misses
and Williams counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Williams looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Totto throws a jab but it's blocked by Williams.
Williams throwing a counter right hand but Totto manages to avoid it.
Williams looks to land a left hand but Totto moved out of range nicely.
Williams bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Totto fails with a takedown attempt.

Williams ducks under a wild hook from Totto.
Sloppy strikes from Totto. Those never looked like landing.
Williams is looking for a counter combo.

Totto closes the distance and pushes Williams back into the cage.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Williams controlling the action here for a moment.
Williams lands a hook that snaps the head of Totto backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Daniel Williams will probably get the nod.

Totto does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Totto cracks Williams with an open hand slap.
Totto throws a looping overhand right but Williams ducks down to avoid it.
An attempted straight right counter from Williams misses the target.

Williams darts in and clinches Totto up against the cage.
Totto lands a damaging elbow.
A nice right hand lands inside from Totto.
A short right from Williams.
Totto is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Williams is keeping busy.
Williams manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Williams's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Williams's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Totto connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Williams scrambles back to his feet.
Nice uppercut lands for Totto. That snapped Williams's head back.
Totto throws a leg kick which misses Williams's front leg but catches the back leg as Williams tries to avoid it.

and Williams counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

A jab lands there for Totto.
Totto missing with a left hand there. Williams was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Totto throws a right and a left that both miss.

Williams lands a big head kick that sends Totto tumbling to the mat! Williams takes a step backwards and waves Totto back to his feet - he wants the finish!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Crack! A monster head kick from Williams and Totto falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Williams!
