Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bill Arkham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baker has chosen monster as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Arkham as Baker shoots in.
Baker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Arkham is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Arkham manages to get to full guard.
Arkham manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Baker manages to get himself to full guard.
Baker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Arkham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Baker wants to get back to his feet but Arkham is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Baker has his foot on Arkham's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Arkham works his way back into a safe position though.

Arkham had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Baker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Arkham Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Baker's back instead.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bill Arkham.
Well Arkham has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
