Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Skeng Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erland Eliasson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eliasson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Radioactive - Imagine Dragons. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Skeng Man! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Erland Eliasson! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Man dives in for a single leg takedown but Eliasson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Eliasson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Man. Man is trying hard to land a takedown here. Eliasson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Skeng Man. That's going to take a lot out of him. Man changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Eliasson tries to avoid it but Man manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Eliasson to the ground. Eliasson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Eliasson now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Man looks for a takedown but Eliasson sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Man throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Eliasson's waist but Eliasson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Man off to one side. Eliasson cracks Man with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eliasson misses with a looping right. Eliasson has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Man is landing a low percentage of strikes. Man looks for a takedown but Eliasson sprawls well. Eliasson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Man avoids the body shot from Eliasson.
As Eliasson tries to get set, Man tries to push him back and clinch up but Eliasson manages to avoid the attempt. Man tries to score a power double leg takedown but Eliasson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Man somewhat. Man uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Eliasson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Eliasson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Man sees it coming and avoids it easily. Man tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Eliasson counters with a nice body shot. Man tries to clinch and Eliasson counters with a nice right hand that sends Man toppling to the canvas! Man scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Eliasson finish him?! Eliasson throws an overhand right that lands on Man's shoulder, as Man tries to avoid the shot. Eliasson tries to sprawl but Man drives through with a takedown into half guard. Man is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Man seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eliasson is trying to control but can't.
Man takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Eliasson trying to hold on to Man's head to control him but Man postures up.
Eliasson is in trouble now - Man has advanced to mount! Eliasson reaches up and holds on to Man to control the position. Man with good strikes from the mount here!
It looks like Erland Eliasson has been cut. Man goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Eliasson is on top in guard.
Man working for a triangle but Eliasson defends it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eliasson wants to control from the top but Man keeps moving. Man is looking for a triangle but Eliasson pushes his legs off easily.
Man looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Man will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Man working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eliasson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Man is tightening it up a little... Eliasson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Eliasson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Eliasson taps out! Nice BJJ there by Man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Skeng Man! Skeng Man very nearly forgot to thank Urban Fighter amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
