Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Willie Whoopins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kengo Mulumba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Whoopins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Holy Moses. Mulumba comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bongo Bong - Manu Chao kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mulumba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Whoopins.

Mulumba throws out a counter right but Whoopins avoids it with no problem.

and Mulumba counters with a left to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Whoopins 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Mulumba ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Mulumba might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Whoopins has got the better of the exchanges.

Whoopins is rocked!
Mulumba throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Whoopins's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Mulumba dives in looking to finish as Whoopins flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Mulumba's strikes! Mulumba is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Whoopins's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Whoopins was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
