Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Noe Hooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Requis Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Noe Hooper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Requis Black!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hooper went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Black doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hooper counters with a two punch combo.
Black shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Hooper counters with a three punch combo that has Black backing up. Black nods at Hooper to acknowledge the strikes.
Noe Hooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Requis Black.
Black shoots for a double leg takedown but Hooper sprawls well. He's pushed Black's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hooper feints a jab promting Black to slip. Hooper then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Black slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hooper could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Hooper tries to close the distance and clinch up but Black swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Black closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Black is staying tight to Hooper's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Hooper tries to improve position but can't.
Hooper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hooper is trying to work for a sweep but Black has mounted him!
Black controlling the pace for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hooper manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Black slows the pace down in half guard.

Black is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Black performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Black is nestled in close to Hooper, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Black stands up and beckons Hooper to his feet.
Black is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hooper sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Black tries for a takedown but Hooper sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hooper tries to clinch up but Black circles away and keeps his distance.
Hooper scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Black throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hooper keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hooper is looking for a counter combo.
Hooper lands a head kick. Black smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Black shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hooper as he jumps to the side.

Black fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hooper avoids it really well and circles away.

and Hooper counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Requis Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Black throws a right hand that Hooper ducks under and follows up with a left that Hooper also avoids with ease.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hooper looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Hooper drives through and clinches with Black against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Black swats away the attempt to clinch by Hooper.
Black shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hooper but Hooper pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Black is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hooper's half guard.
Hooper wants to improve his position but Black is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Black is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hooper defends it well.
Hooper tries to get to full guard but Black has control of the leg.
Hooper is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Black can do to turn this around?
Well, if Black is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Black wants to pass the guard but Hooper is defending well.
Hooper gets full guard.
Hooper bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Black's guard.

Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hooper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hooper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Black pulls Hooper in to control the position.
Black utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Black pulls Hooper in close to his closed guard and prevents Hooper from doing any damage or advancing position.
We've been informed that Black has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Hooper has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Black is proving hard to escape from.

Hooper gets to his feet. Black looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Hooper fails with an attempt to clinch.
Black scores with a kick to the body.
Hooper defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Black.
Hooper throws a big counter combination but Black scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Black misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hooper throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Black goes for a double leg but Hooper avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hooper continues to drive forward.
Noe Hooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Requis Black.
Black is breathing heavily.

Hooper gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Hooper is working for takedown but Black is calmly controlling the position for now.
Hooper tries to stall but Black uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Black gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hooper.

Black has Hooper pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Black pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hooper tumbling to the mat - Black dives into Hooper's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Black controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

A close second round but Requis Black will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Hooper tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Black defends well and Hooper ends up having to push Black into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Black goes for a double leg but Hooper avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hooper continues to drive forward.

Hooper moves into the clinch.

Black jumps guard.

Hooper stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Black throws up his legs and catches Hooper in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Hooper tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Black! That came out of nowhere!
