Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alvin Aposta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emilix Pena (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Alvin Aposta! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Emilix Pena! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aposta clobbers Pena with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Pena shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Aposta counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Pena closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Pena lands in his opponent's guard. Aposta will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Aposta wants to sweep but no luck. Pena wants to pass the guard but Aposta is keeping the position. Pena controlling from the top position. Pena should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Aposta wants to sweep here but Pena controlling him for the moment. Pena wants to pass the guard but Aposta is keeping the position. Aposta being controlled here, momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pena prevents Aposta from getting back to his feet. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pena has eaten all the pies! Pena slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Aposta is trying to keep Pena in close.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Aposta looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pena looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Aposta keeping full guard, as Pena tries to pass. Pena slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Aposta trying to control the position.
Aposta had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pena defends it easily. Pena controls from within his opponent's guard. Let's hope that Pena has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aposta wants to sweep here but Pena controlling him for the moment. Aposta is trying to keep Pena in close.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Pena shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Aposta is trying to defend but Pena finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Aposta trying to control but Pena postures up.
Pena looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Pena looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aposta regains full guard. Nicely done. Pena looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Aposta not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Aposta looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Aposta looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pena pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Aposta is keeping the position for now. Pena sitting in guard here, content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Emilix Pena will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Aposta throws out a powerful jab. Aposta scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Pena fails to land the takedown. Aposta is looking to counter punch. Aposta sizes up Pena with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Pena doesn't succeed with the takedown and Aposta counters with a right hand to the body. Aposta connects with a nice looking jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pena has his takedown stuffed and Aposta counters with a nice body shot. Alvin Aposta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emilix Pena. Pena tries for a takedown but Aposta circles away easily and Aposta cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Pena is breathing heavily. Pena walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Aposta is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aposta connects with a jab. Aposta moves into the clinch successfully.

Pena on the wrong end of a nice hook. Pena doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Aposta to counter with a crisp jab. Aposta smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Aposta is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Aposta lands with a hook. Pena tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Pena is rocked! Aposta is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pena can do to turn this around? Aposta keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Pena is still on wobbly legs! Can Aposta finish him? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Aposta lands with an overhand left. Aposta leaves Pena with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A little feinted left hand from Aposta on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Aposta lands with an overhand left.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pena goes for a double leg but Aposta avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Aposta continues to drive forward. A little feinted left hand from Aposta on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Pena seems to have recovered his senses. Aposta moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Aposta lands a lovely overhand right. Pena takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Aposta jabs at Pena's body. Pena needs to keep his hands up - Aposta had a free shot at his head there. Aposta punishes Pena's body with a nice straight punch. Pena takes one to the side of the head.
Aposta walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Pena drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Aposta swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Pena's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alvin Aposta!
