Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Goban Declan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neal Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Goban Declan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Neal Bob! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob jabbing away but nothing is landing. Declan misses with a body kick. Declan throws a head kick that misses. Bob connects with a single shot there. Declan tries to land a leg kick but Bob saw it coming and moves away.
Declan looks to land a body kick but Bob moved away. Neal Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Declan throws a leg kick but Bob sees it coming and checks it nicely. Bob misses with a wild body shot. Bob misses with a double jab.
Bob lands a nice shot that snaps Declan's head back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A shot to the body from Bob misses and Declan counters with a thumping low kick. Declan missing with a left hand there. Bob was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bob fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Declan manages to avoid it. Declan was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Declan misses with a body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Declan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bob throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Declan. Declan throws out a leg kick but Bob moves out of range and Declan only half commits. Bob throws a shot from downtown. Declan moves away and avoids it. Declan drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bob sprawls and moves away. Declan with a jab. Declan seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. The crowd cheers as Declan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bob doesn't seem phased though. Declan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Bob counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bob throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Declan goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Neal Bob has been cut. Bob swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bob lands a nice looking body shot.
Declan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bob. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Declan looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Declan scoring well with a low kick there.
Bob misses with a shot to the body enabling Declan to counter with a crisp jab. Declan walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bob checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Declan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Declan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Bob lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Bob throws a series of punches but Declan avoids them all with ease. Declan blocks a jab. Declan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Declan misses the jab. Declan staying out of range there. Declan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bob.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob scores with a jab. Bob scores with a decent looking hook. Bob throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Declan sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bob is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Declan. Bob swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Declan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bob moves away. Declan throws a lazy right hand but Bob sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bob feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Declans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Declan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bob throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Declan counters with a nice uppercut. Bob misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Declan goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Bob lands a nice shot that snaps Declan's head back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bob misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Declan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bob moves out of range of the strikes. Declan throws the kick towards the body but Bob avoids it. Bob looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Declan appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Declan connects with an inside leg kick. Bob misses with a two punch combination.
Declan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bob. Declan throws a body shot but no joy. A little jabbing left from Bob on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Declan throws a right hand that Bob ducks under and follows up with a left that Bob also avoids with ease. Bob avoids the head kick by Declan.

A close round but Neal Bob will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Neal Bob's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

That's one minute gone in the round. Declan cracks Bob with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Neal Bob seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bob lands an overhand right. Bob fails to land with a series of punches.
Bob ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Declan moves away. Bob lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Declan connects with a body shot. Bob misses with a straight left. Declan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bob. Declan appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Bob lands a really nice looking cross but Declan seems unphased.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Good exchange - Declan coming out on top. Declan looks to land a body kick but Bob moved away. Bob wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Bob misses with a hook. Declan ducked under it nicely. Bob blocks a jab. Bob fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Declan takes a swing at Bob's ribcage but misses. Declan bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Declan blocks a jab. Bob throws a sloppy body shot
and Declan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bob's guard. Declan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Declan throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Declan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Declan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bob's head. Declan being controlled here momentarily. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Bob wants to control but Declan passes easily into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Declan trying to control the action but Bob is working from the bottom. Declan is pressing down on Bob's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bob is holding on for now. Declan lands strikes from half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Declan in particular looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Goban Declan will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Neal Bob's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

A little feinted left hand from Declan on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Bob falls off balance throwing a combination
and Declan counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bob! Declan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. The ground and pound from Declan seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Bob defending against the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Declan tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bob can do anything to dispel that myth. Declan lands a decent elbow from side control. Declan working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Declan working the ground and pound but Bob is defending the strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Declan scoring with punches from side control. Declan tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Declan with the ground and pound but Bob regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Declan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Declan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Declan wants to take a breather but Bob is having none of it. Declan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Bob is trying to maintain the position but Declan is very close to passing his half guard. Bob is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Declan scores with a couple of nice shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Declan is trying to control. Bob wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Declan missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Nice strikes from Declan there. Declan lands with a punch from half guard. Declan stalling. Declan not landing any meaningful shots this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Goban Declan showed his dominance in that final round. I think Declan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
