Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jarkko Ruutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sid Snok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruutu kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is YMCA. Jarkko Ruutu had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jarkko Ruutu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sid Snok!
The judges for this bout are Roosa J�rvil�inen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruutu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No luck for Snok with that takedown attempt.
Ruutu misses with the combination.
Snok changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ruutu tries to avoid it but Snok manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ruutu to the ground. Ruutu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Ruutu just misses with a punch to the body.
Snok shoots in for a double leg but Ruutu sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Jarkko Ruutu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sid Snok.
Ruutu lands a nice shot to the body.
Ruutu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ruutu throws a sloppy head kick and Snok moves out of range easily.
Ruutu cracks Snok with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Snok tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ruutu pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Snok is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jarkko Ruutu!
