Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Devon Thorton!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorton fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Devon Thorton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thorton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thorton lands a nice looking body shot.
Thorton shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Thorton misses with a head shot. Witt uses the momentum to regain guard.
Witt keeping full guard, as Thorton tries to pass.
Witt has his hands on Thorton's head, controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thorton trying to control but Witt is working from the bottom.
Thorton wanted to stand there but Witt had control of the position.

Thorton is looking to work some ground and pound but Witt has wrist control.
Witt has momentary wrist control but Thorton slips an elbow through the middle.
It looks like Jewell Witt has been cut.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thorton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Witt avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Thorton decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Thorton fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Thorton throws out a powerful jab.
Witt is rocked!
Jewell Witt's cut is getting worse.
Witt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Witt tries to keep at a distance but Thorton has taken the fight into the clinch.
Oh Witt is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thorton creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Witt with a big uppercut! Witt tries to clinch up but Thorton pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Witt to the mat! Witt covers up and Thorton unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Devon Thorton!
