Coleman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 21 Questions. Toby Coleman has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Royce Allen's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Royce Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Toby Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Paul Gruel and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Coleman.
No luck for Coleman with that takedown attempt.
It looked like Allen wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Allen leaves Coleman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Royce Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toby Coleman.

Coleman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Allen did well to prevent Coleman getting side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Allen manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Allen, under a barage of strikes from Coleman.
Coleman throws a strike but Allen avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coleman looking to sit in guard and control but Allen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Coleman scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Royce Allen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Coleman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Allen swivels and escapes.
Allen seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Allen keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Allen half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Coleman fails to land the takedown.
Allen went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Coleman is defended easily by Allen.
Allen tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Coleman manages to circle out of the way.

Coleman shoots in but Allen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Allen attempts a counter takedown but Coleman avoids it well and moves away.
Coleman lands a body shot.
Allen displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Coleman.
Horrible takedown attempt by Coleman or perhaps it was just good defense by Allen, which made it look bad.

Coleman shoots in but no luck this time.

Allen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coleman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coleman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Allen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

As Coleman tries to get set, Allen tries to push him back and clinch up but Coleman manages to avoid the attempt.
Royce Allen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Coleman tries for a takedown but Allen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Coleman lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Coleman.

The fight stays on the outside here - Allen looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Coleman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Allen pinned against the cage. Allen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Allen tries to counter with a takedown but Coleman is quick to defend against it.

Coleman looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Coleman takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Coleman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Coleman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Allen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Allen wants to stand and escape but instead Coleman has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Allen controls Coleman momentarily but Coleman frees himself.

Coleman manages to escape and get back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Toby Coleman.
I've got Coleman winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
