The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matic fails with a takedown attempt.
Matic takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Matic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to avoid it but Matic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Johnson to the ground. Johnson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Matic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Johnson as he jumps to the side.
Anthony Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bogdan Matic.
Johnson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Anthony Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson connects with a jab.

Matic is rocked!
Matic is looking to clinch.
Matic is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
Matic switches off momentarily and Johnson cracks him with a monster right hand! Matic topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Johnson dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Johnson!
