Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Serra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and eddie toode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). toode has chosen somebodies goin get there ass kicked as his entrance music. eddie toode has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Serra!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, eddie toode!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Jonathan Paton.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

toode closes the distance and pushes Serra back into the cage.
Serra has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. toode is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
toode wants a takedown but no success here.
toode is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
toode prevents Serra from breaking the clinch.

toode manages to pull guard.
Serra is in close to toode's body, working some short punches and elbows.

It looks like eddie toode has been cut.
Serra lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Serra postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Serra avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
toode really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Serra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Serra postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
toode looking for a sweep. Not yet toode, not yet.
Serra wants to pass the guard but toode is keeping the position.
Serra lands a couple of elbows.
Serra pushes down on toode's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Serra is nestled in close to toode, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
toode is looking for a sweep. Serra is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Serra lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Serra working toode over with strikes.
toode is in trouble now - Serra has advanced to mount!

Serra wants to finish this one by submission but toode is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Serra.
Serra scoring with strikes but toode is staying in there.
toode is in a horrible position here. Serra smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
toode is bucking up trying to escape but Serra cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

That has opened up eddie toode's cut even more.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at eddie toode's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
