The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blower throws a series of punches but Blodell moves out of range.
Blodell looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Blower moves in looking to clinch but Blodell pushes him off.
No luck for Blower with that takedown attempt.
Blodell circles away from the clinch attempt.
Blodell shoots and misses
and Blower counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Blower misses with a series of wild punches.
Blodell steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Blower. That one must have hurt.
Blodell fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chuck Blodell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blower rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blodell moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Blower tries to close the distance and clinch but Blodell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Blower works Blodell's body with a nice hook.
Blodell is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Crack! A monster head kick from Blower and Blodell falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Blower!
