Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Toney Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sayid Abduroundhouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sayid Abduroundhouse will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Toney Reed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sayid Abduroundhouse!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reed shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Reed was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Reed is staying tight to Abduroundhouse's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Abduroundhouse is looking to reverse the position.
Abduroundhouse is letting Reed control him for a moment.

Abduroundhouse has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Reed can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Reed forces Abduroundhouse back against the cage and clinches.

Abduroundhouse misses with a takedown attempt
and Reed counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Reed leaves Abduroundhouse with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Abduroundhouse shoots for a double leg takedown but Reed sprawls well. He's pushed Abduroundhouse's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Toney Reed has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sayid Abduroundhouse.

Reed was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Reed seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Reed tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Abduroundhouse paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Abduroundhouse shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Reed as he avoids it easily.
Reed lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Reed gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Reed prevents a takedown attempt there.

Reed manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Reed takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
