Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Mayhew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Yabuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yabuki has chosen fuck you as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Mayhew!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Yabuki!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Mayhew.


It looks like Joe Yabuki has been cut.
Mayhew cracks Yabuki with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Yabuki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mayhew looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mayhew chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Yabuki can pounce on him.
Mayhew avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mayhew dives in and grabs Yabuki's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yabuki pushes down on Mayhew's head and hops out.
Mayhew darts in looking for a takedown but Yabuki gets double underhooks and turns Mayhew into the cage.
Mayhew tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yabuki swivels and escapes.

Mayhew feints a jab promting Yabuki to slip. Mayhew then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Yabuki slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Mayhew jumps guard and drags Yabuki to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
