The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Den Berg misses with a combination
and Casey holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Casey escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A left and a right from Van Den Berg both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Alvaro Casey has been cut.
Some wild striking there from Van Den Berg.
Casey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Van Den Berg's waist but Van Den Berg gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Casey off to one side.
Van Den Berg throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Van Den Berg lands a left and a right that send Casey crashing to the mat, dazed. Van Den Berg thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Van Den Berg misses with a series of wild punches.
Van Den Berg lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Van Den Berg.
Casey is rocked!
BAM! Van Den Berg delivers a spinning backfist that drops Casey like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
