Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenn Williamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith comes to the cage accompanied by Sam and Dave - Hold On I'm Coming. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Billy Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glenn Williamson! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith rushes Williamson and presses him up against the cage. Smith gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Williamson.

Billy Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glenn Williamson. Williamson has picked Smith up - he's going for a ride! Williamson dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Smith knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Williamson on the ground. Smith wants to get back to his feet.
Williamson is looking for a kimura but Smith is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Williamson to get the leverage. Williamson is trying to work for a kimura but Smith is defending well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smith is defending against the submission attempts here by Williamson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith kicks off Williamson and gets to his feet. Williamson fails to land the takedown. Williamson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Williamson shoots in looking for a takedown but Smith manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Williamson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Williamson swings for the body but Smith moves out of range.
Smith pushes Williamson up against the cage in a clinch. Smith is pressed up against the cage. Williamson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Smith down to the mat. Smith avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Smith with a hook.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith instigates a clinch. Smith throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Williamsons head. I was talking to Smith's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A left hand lands to the body for Smith.
Williamson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Smith pulls him back up using the underhooks. Williamson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Smith can't fight it off and eventually Williamson manages to take the fight to the floor. Smith looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Williamson tries to free his leg and advance position but Smith is retaining full guard. Williamson wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Smith prevents Williamson from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williamson wants to get back to his feet but Smith passes into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith gets to his feet - back to striking we go! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Williamson. Williamson shoots and misses and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Smith keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Smith swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Smith pushes Williamson up against the cage in a clinch. Smith taking a breather. Williamson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Smith fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Smith closes the distance and clinches. Smith prevents the takedown attempt.

Billy Smith dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Williamson tries to keep at a distance but Smith has taken the fight into the clinch. Williamson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Smith's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Smith changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Smith lands with a good body shot. Williamson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Smith counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Williamson goes for a double leg but Smith avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Smith continues to drive forward. Williamson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Williamson is rocked! Williamson misses with a few strikes there.
Williamson is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him? Smith gets a clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Smith lands with a right to the head. Smith pushes Williamson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. A shot in the inside from Smith. Smith lands a hook to the side of the head. Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smith drops Williamson with a big left hand! Williamson is injured, injured bad! Smith jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Billy Smith! Billy Smith tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
