Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Flynn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Brandon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Matt Flynn! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flynn looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Brandon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Flynn as he avoids it easily. Flynn wants to clinch. Brandon blocks a leg kick. Flynn connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brandon's hands. Flynn drives through and clinches with Brandon against the cage.
Brandon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Flynn.
Brandon breaks from the clinch.
Brandon slips a jab and a cross from Flynn.
Brandon decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Brandon thows a huge punch but Flynn dodges it nicely.
Brandon wants to take a breather but Flynn is having none of it. Flynn pushes Brandon off but Brandon dives into side control.
Flynn is trying to get back to half guard. Flynn is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flynn sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Flynn looks gassed! Brandon is tying to control. Flynn wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Brandon wants to pass to mount but Flynn is defending the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Flynn can do anything to dispel that myth. Flynn manages to escape and get back to his feet! Matt Flynn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brandon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A punch combination from Flynn misses. Brandon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Flynn. Brandon shoots in and bounces Flynn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Brandon trying to control but Flynn is working from the bottom. Brandon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Flynn is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brandon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Brandon misses with a takedown attempt - Flynn sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tony Brandon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Flynn jabbing away but nothing is landing. A swing and a miss from Flynn. Brandon shoots in and bounces Flynn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Flynn working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brandon. Flynn pushes Brandon off and gets back to his feet.
Flynn doesn't manage to clinch there - Brandon circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Some wild striking there from Flynn.
Flynn misses with a leg kick and Brandon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Flynn's guard now. Flynn wants to stand and escape but Brandon is having none of it. Flynn pulls Brandon in to control the position. Brandon passes Flynn's left leg - he's now in half guard. Brandon wants to work for an arm triangle but Flynn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Flynn is looking to improve his position.
Brandon wants to take a breather but Flynn is having none of it. Brandon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Flynn with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Flynn wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brandon is trying to control the action in half guard but Flynn is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Flynn closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Flynn lands in his opponent's guard. Brandon controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brandon manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Flynn taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Brandon dominated that round. That's time! Brandon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Brandon has his takedown stuffed and Flynn counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Flynn breaks from the clinch.
Brandon fails with the takedown. Brandon clinches with his opponent.
Flynn wants to get back to striking at distance but Brandon won't allow it.
Flynn breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Tony Brandon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brandon tries to clinch but Flynn moves out of range. Brandon lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Flynn backs up against the cage.

Flynn swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Brandon counters with a single leg into guard. Flynn didn't expect that. Brandon controlling from the top position. Tony Brandon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brandon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Flynn has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Brandon is looking to defend but Flynn has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Brandon! Flynn pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Brandon taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Matt Flynn!
