Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Curtis Ruttenum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Shelby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Curtis Ruttenum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tommy Shelby! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shelby leaves Ruttenum with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ruttenum takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Ruttenum really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ruttenum shoots in and drives through. Shelby sprawls well. Shelby fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ruttenum looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Ruttenum goes for a double leg but Shelby avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Shelby continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Curtis Ruttenum. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ruttenum fails with the takedown and Shelby counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ruttenum closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Shelby's guard. Shelby is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ruttenum distracts Shelby with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Shelby wants to get back to his feet but Ruttenum is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ruttenum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Shelby utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Ruttenum lands a couple of decent looking shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shelby avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ruttenum prevents Shelby from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Shelby tests Ruttenum's chin there with a solid looking shot. Shelby lands a jab to the head.
Ruttenum stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Shelby. Ruttenum with a lazy takedown attempt and Shelby counters with a nice body shot. Ruttenum closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shelby to the mat! Shelby manages to get full guard. Ruttenum is breathing heavily. Ruttenum scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Shelby is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shelby is trying to stand and escape. In the scramble, Ruttenum has locked hold of an arm and he's managed to lock on an armbar - Shelby taps out instantly and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Curtis Ruttenum! Curtis Ruttenum took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
