Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Silfa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinten Kasper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 26 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Silfa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quinten Kasper!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kasper drives through with a takedown into guard.

Kasper drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kasper jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kasper lands a couple of elbows.

Kasper's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
It looks like Kasper might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kasper is continuing to stall.

Silfa is trying to control the position but Kasper postures up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Silfa tries to sprawl but Kasper drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Kasper not doing much here.
The adventures of Kasper the control monster continue. Boring.
Silfa is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kasper's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kasper's back!
Kasper can't escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kasper trying to control the action but Silfa just sinks the hooks in.

Silfa is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Kasper knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Kasper for a finish.
I really don't envy Kasper right now.
Even with his hooks in, Silfa manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Silfa controlling well, preventing Kasper from escaping the position.

Silfa has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kasper has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
A lull in the action here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

I really don't envy Kasper right now.

Kasper prevents Silfa from getting a body triangle.
Kasper looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Silfa is trying to stick to Kasper's back but Kasper is turning into Silfa. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Silfa's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kasper.

Silfa working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kasper doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kasper manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kasper is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Quinten Kasper will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Anderson Silfa's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Kasper counters with a shoot takedown. Silfa fights it but they end up in guard.
Kasper is standing up over Silfa. Silfa looks to escape but Kasper dives into side control.

Silfa can't do much from the bottom here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kasper is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Silfa has escaped the position, nice work there.
Kasper is breathing heavily.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Kasper working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Kasper in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Silfa is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Quinten Kasper!
