Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joesph Walls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steveo Romley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joesph Walls! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steveo Romley! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Taro Takaoka and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romley will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Nice takedown defense from Romley. No joy for Walls on that attempt. Walls ducks under a wild hook from Romley. Romley throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Walls.
It looks like Joesph Walls has been cut. Romley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Walls sprawls well. Walls wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Romley gets slowly back to his feet. Romley thuds a left hand into Walls's body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walls will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Walls. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joesph Walls. That's going to take a lot out of him. Walls has managed to clinch.

Walls is trying to trip Romley. He has hold of a leg but Romley is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Walls persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Romley being controlled here, momentarily. Walls decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Romley, up you get! Romley misses with a series of wild punches.
Walls is looking to counter with head kicks. Romley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Walls as he jumps to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Romley gets a clinch. Walls has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Romley uses from the top position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Walls is on top in guard.
Walls stands up from guard. Let's bang! Walls drives through with a takedown into Romley's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Walls gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Romley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walls's waist but Walls gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Romley off to one side. Romley looks winded! Romley clinches up against the cage. Romley is trying to break free. Walls is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Romley pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Walls changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Romley fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Walls shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Walls showed some decent athleticism there. Still in half guard, Walls seems content to control. Walls seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Romley for as long as he can get away with.

Steveo Romley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walls throws a right and a left that both miss. Walls drives through with a takedown into guard. Walls takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Joesph Walls overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Well, if Walls is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Walls is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Romley can do to turn this around? Walls gets to his feet - back to striking we go! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romley throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's one minute gone in the round. Walls throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Romley was covering up waiting for the punch and Walls finishes the takedown easily into guard. Romley wriggles free and stands up. Walls has managed to clinch.

Walls has his feet on Romley's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Walls shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Walls was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Romley avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Walls. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Romley gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Walls continues to stall. Walls has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Further stalling from Walls. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Romley slaps away a takedown attempt from Walls, before circling back to the center of the mat. Walls shoots in but Romley avoids the takedown attempt easily. Romley rushes Walls and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Romley lands a shoulder strike. Romley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Romley moves into the clinch successfully.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Walls slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Walls stands and steps away. Romley gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Romley misses with an uppercut. Walls showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Romley.
Walls swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walls looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Romley is fending him off so far but Walls persists. Nope, Romley circles away and we're back to standing. Walls closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Romley did well to prevent Walls getting side control. Walls decides to stand and escape the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walls shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Romley manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Walls postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Walls gets to his feet. Romley looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Walls shoots in from a long way out. Romley leaves Walls with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Romley fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Walls to the ground. Romley is now in Walls's guard. Walls is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Steveo Romley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Romley can't find room to land a body shot as Walls controls the action.
Walls gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Romley regains guard.
Romley pushes Walls off and scrambles back to his feet.
Joesph Walls is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Romley throws a body shot but no joy.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Joesph Walls. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Walls, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
