Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sylvester Ritter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rancho Wildslap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wildslap has chosen Rawhide as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sylvester Ritter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rancho Wildslap! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ritter connects with a crisp jab. Ritter lands with a good body shot. Ritter works over Wildslap's head and body with a nice combination. Ritter throws a good cross that connects.
Ritter misses with a series of wild punches.
Wildslap wants to counter the offense by Ritter and move into the clinch position. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wildslap has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Wildslap with a lazy takedown attempt and Ritter counters with a nice uppercut. Ritter lands a jab to Wildslap's midsection. Ritter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ritter throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wildslap counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Ritter has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Wildslap has passed into side control.
Wildslap is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ritter will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Ritter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ritter tries to get back to half guard but can't. Wildslap throwing strikes but Ritter manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Ritter stands up and beckons Wildslap to his feet. Ritter lands a leg kick that knocks Wildslap off balance momentarily. Ritter scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wildslap in his tracks. Nice uppercut lands for Ritter. That snapped Wildslap's head back.
Wildslap tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ritter was well out of range. Poor timing from Wildslap. Nice straight punches there by Ritter. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ritter.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ritter scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Ritter looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wildslap takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ritter lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Wildslap takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Wildslap takes a body punch but keeps moving. Ritter is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Ritter connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wildslap. Wildslap circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Wildslap is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Donk. Ritter catches Wildslap right on the button with a cross. Ritter works Wildslap's body with a nice hook. Ritter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wildslap. Sylvester Ritter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ritter lands a two punch combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wildslap drops his hands momentarily and Ritter takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Ritter lands a slapping body shot.
Ritter lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wildslap moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Ritter scores with a jab. A punch combination from Ritter misses. Wildslap is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Wildslap just misses with a punch to the body.
Ritter lands a jab to the nose. Ritter stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Ritter looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ritter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wildslap throws a body punch but Ritter moves out of range. Wildslap has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Ritter lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wildslap's sensitive parts. A solid leg kick lands there for Ritter.
Wildslap takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Ritter connects with a body shot that sends Wildslap's belly button to the back. Ritter lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wildslap throws an off balance right hand
and Ritter counters with a stiff right hand. Ritter lunges at Wildslap with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wildslap's hand. Ritter thuds his right hand into Wildslap's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sylvester Ritter dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ritter lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Wildslap misses with a shot to the body and Ritter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ritter cracks the inside of Wildslap's front leg. Ritter pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Wildslap back to the cage. Ritter follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Ritter feints and then cracks Wildslap's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wildslap down. Ritter lunges at Wildslap with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Wildslap's hand. Ritter lands a nice shot to the body.
Wildslap takes a swing at Ritter's ribcage but misses. An attempted straight right counter from Ritter misses the target. Ritter throws a nice looking combination but Wildslap bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ritter clobbers Wildslap with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ritter fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wildslap looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Wildslap is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ritter rather than just go for the knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters circling - Wildslap throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ritter lands with an uppercut that bounces Wildslap off the cage and back into range. Ritter scores with a hook. Ritter scores with a sloppy right hand. Wildslap should have avoided that one. Ritter with a nice cross. Ritter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wildslap's hands. Wildslap shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ritter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sylvester Ritter is winning the standup battle so far. Wildslap is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ritter. Ritter connects with a body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ritter lands a lovely overhand right. Wildslap has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Ritter cracks Wildslap with an open hand slap. Ritter lands with a shot to the body. Good shot there by Ritter. An inside leg kick lands from Ritter. Wildslap takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Ritter smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Ritter throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Wildslap takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Good exchange - Ritter coming out on top. Wildslap is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ritter.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wildslap shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Ritter is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wildslap's half guard. Ritter decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Ritter lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Ritter lands a glancing blow to the side of Wildslap's head. Ritter scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wildslap doesn't seem bothered though. Ritter throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wildslap counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Wildslap. Wildslap looking for a takedown. Ritter is trying to force a seperation but Wildslap has the dominant position. Ritter breaks from the clinch.

Ritter throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wildslap was covering up waiting for the punch and Ritter finishes the takedown easily into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sylvester Ritter dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ritter showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wildslap.

Ritter rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wildslap moves out of range and avoids them all easily. And Wildslap tries to counter it with a takedown but Ritter pushes his down on his head and steps out. Ritter lands with a hook. Wildslap tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Ritter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? Wildslap is rocked! Wildslap takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Rancho Wildslap has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wildslap is still on wobbly legs! Can Ritter finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ritter smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ritter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wildslap. Wildslap seems to have recovered his senses. Ritter drops Wildslap with a beautiful combination! Wildslap stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ritter is looking for the KO! Ritter lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Wildslap falls backwards - clearly groggy! Ritter dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
