Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harry Sachz! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sachz looking to score a takedown here. Harris is defending well but Sachz drives through and ends up in Harris's guard. Harris is looking to stand up but Sachz isn't so interested in that idea. Harris looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Harris is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Sachz trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom. Harris looking for a sweep. Not yet Harris, not yet. Sachz is in close to Harris's body, working some short punches and elbows. Harris tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sachz trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom. Sachz is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Harris has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Sachz off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Sachz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Harris defends well and Sachz ends up having to push Harris into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. A little feinted left hand from Harris on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Sachz blocks a leg kick. Sachz has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Harris is landing a low percentage of strikes. Sachz lands a jab to the nose. Harris has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Sachz shoots in looking for a takedown but Harris manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sachz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Harris throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Sachz with the counter takedown but Harris avoids it easily. Sachz lands a right hook to the body.

Sachz is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Sachz looks for a takedown but Harris sprawls well. Paul Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Sachz. Sachz darts in looking for a takedown but Harris gets double underhooks and turns Sachz into the cage. Harris looks to throw the jab but Sachz is out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sachz changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Sachz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harris sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sachz somewhat. Sachz misses with a takedown and Harris counters with a straight right hand. Sachz shoots in for a takedown but Harris shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Harris throws a quick counter kick to the body but Sachz avoids it. Harris throws a head kick that misses. Harris is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harris digs a good body shot into Sachz's ribs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris throws the left hand but Sachz avoids the punch easily. Sachz bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Harris feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sachz's calf. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sachz. Sachz with a poor takedown and Harris makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Harris misses with a hook. Sachz ducked under it nicely. Sachz throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sachz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sachz moves out of range of the body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris throws a quick inside leg kick. Nice takedown defense from Harris. No joy for Sachz on that attempt. Sachz fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sachz lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Harris at a distance.
Sachz uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Harris has time to react. Sachz shoots in for a takedown but Harris shows good takedown defense. Sachz shoots and misses and Harris counters with a nice low kick that buckles Sachz's knee momentarily. Harris ducks under a wild hook from Sachz. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harris thows a left - swing and a miss! Nice takedown defense from Harris. No joy for Sachz on that attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Harris dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Harris takes a shot right to the bread basket. Harris lands with an overhand left. Harris misses with a straight right. Sachz throws a lazy uppercut
and Harris counters with a head kick. That will keep Sachz thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Harris with a hook. Harris tries a head kick but it misses.
Harris scoring well with a low kick there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Sachz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Harris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Harris dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Sachz. That did some damage!
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris throws a half hearted mid kick. Donk. Sachz catches Harris right on the button with a cross. Harris is looking to slow Sachz down with leg kicks. Harris tries to land a front kick but Sachz steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Sachz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Harris looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Sachz lands a right hook to the body.
Harris throws a big shot that misses. Sachz shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Harris defends it nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sachz misses with a looping right. Sachz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Harris sprawls well. Harris wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sachz gets slowly back to his feet. As Sachz backs away, Harris returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Sachz is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Harris rather than just go for the knockout. Harris throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Sachz counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Harris pushes Sachz off but Sachz dives into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Harris can't do much from the bottom here. Sachz trying to control the position but Harris is working away. Harris stops Sachz from passing to mount. Harry Sachz has got the better of the ground game so far. Harris can't do much from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sachz gets to mount! Harris was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Harris really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Harris is working hard here to advance position. Harris is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Sachz lands a big elbow. Sachz lands a big elbow. Sachz unloading with bombs!
Harris is rocked! Sachz is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Harris goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Sachz!
