Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maurice Boon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maple Heartoway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boon comes to the cage accompanied by Buffalo Soldier. Heartoway has chosen Canadian Idiot by Wierd Al as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Maple Heartoway is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Nice takedown defense from Heartoway. No joy for Boon on that attempt.
Heartoway clinches up against the cage.
Boon has picked Heartoway up - he's going for a ride! Boon dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Heartoway trying to hold on to Boon's head to control him but Boon postures up.
Heartoway really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Heartoway tries to get to full guard but Boon has control of the leg.

We've been hearing that Boon has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Heartoway is trying to stand up here but Boon is controlling him well.
Boon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Boon is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Heartoway is hurt! He's hurt bad - Boon fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Heartoway from any more punishment! Congratulations to Boon! Great finish!
