Edgar is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Kick In The Door. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Spanky Edgar!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koreshkov shoots for a double leg takedown but Edgar sprawls well. He's pushed Koreshkov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Edgar lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Spanky Edgar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Edgar looks to throw the jab but Koreshkov is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edgar throws the left hand but Koreshkov avoids the punch easily.
Edgar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Koreshkov tries to avoid it but Edgar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Koreshkov to the ground. Koreshkov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Edgar swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Edgar can do anything to dispel that myth.
