The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cowell pinned against the cage. Cowell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cowell keeps the fight on the outside.
Martin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cowell sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Martin misses with a takedown attempt - Cowell sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alex Cowell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ambroise Martin.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Cowell has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Martin to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cowell is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Martin pulls down on the head and he's put Cowell to sleep! This one is all over!
