Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hamad Salem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brad Pickett!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pickett stuns Salem with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Pickett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Salem.
Salem shoots in but no luck this time.
Hamad Salem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salem dives in and grabs Pickett's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pickett pushes down on Salem's head and hops out.
Pickett let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Whack! Pickett lands a heavy head kick that drops Salem. The ref tackles Pickett to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Salem was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Brad Pickett!
