Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Aswer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Sushimawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sushimawa is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aswer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Aswer tries to clinch but Sushimawa is having none of it.
Aswer tries to clinch there but Sushimawa circles away.
Sushimawa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sushimawa darts in and clinches Aswer up against the cage.
Sushimawa wants to get back to striking at distance but Aswer won't allow it.
Sushimawa can't break the clinch.
Aswer keeps control of Sushimawa as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Sushimawa is trying to break free.
Aswer wants to break free but Sushimawa has control.
Sushimawa manages to break the clinch.
Aswer fails to land the takedown.
Some bone on bone action there as Sushimawa checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Aswer closes the distance looking to clinch
and Sushimawa holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Aswer could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aswer drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sushimawa gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Aswer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sushimawa is trying to break free.
Aswer is looking to break free of the clinch but Sushimawa has double underhooks.
Sushimawa wants to break free but Aswer has control.

Aswer is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Aswer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sushimawa smiles and moves away.

Sushimawa throws a combination. Aswer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Jon Aswer has been cut.
Aswer fails with the takedown
and Sushimawa counters with a stiff right hand.
Aswer is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sushimawa lands with a nice combination. Aswer backs away looking to recover.
Jon Aswer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sushimawa scores with a nice head shot.
Aswer on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Aswer seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Sushimawa shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Aswer is backing up but Sushimawa catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Aswer covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Sushimawa Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akira Sushimawa!
