Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Clement Cherry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janusz Kowalix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Janusz Kowalix is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalix gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cherry is trying to force a seperation but Kowalix has the dominant position.
Kowalix is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cherry is defending well.
Kowalix wants the takedown. Cherry is fighting it off but Kowalix persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cherry's guard against the cage.

Cherry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cherry is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kowalix defends well.

Kowalix really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cherry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cherry wants to get back to his feet but Kowalix is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kowalix closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cherry did well to prevent Kowalix getting side control.
Kowalix is controlling the pace.

Kowalix slips a nice elbow through Cherry's hands, connecting with Cherry's forehead.

Kowalix tries to pass to full mount but Cherry defends it.
Well, if Kowalix is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Kowalix thows a huge punch but Cherry dodges it nicely.
Kowalix is pressing down on Cherry's thigh, looking to free his foot. Cherry is holding on for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cherry looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kowalix is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cherry is trying to stand back up but Kowalix is controlling him
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kowalix working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cherry is letting Kowalix control him for a moment.
Kowalix prevents Cherry from escaping the position.

Cherry is trying to control Kowalix's posture but Kowalix avoids it.

Cherry wants to control but Kowalix postures up.
Kowalix is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Cherry's shoulder. That is not cool.

Cherry is looking to get back to his feet here but Kowalix is keeping cool and he's managed to take Cherry's back.
Kowalix controlling the position well here. Cherry rolled but Kowalix kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Cherry grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Cherry looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Kowalix is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Cherry is trying to get back to his feet but Kowalix has full control of the position and if anything, Cherry has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Kowalix just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

What can Cherry do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Kowalix lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Kowalix.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Janusz Kowalix showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Kowalix manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Cherry on his heels. He'll look to pass Cherry's guard now, I'm sure.

Kowalix lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Cherry quite badly. Cherry pulls Kowalix in close trying to recover. Kowalix postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Cherry on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Cherry doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
