Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andreas Fjellheim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Ruthless (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruthless is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bodybag by Hit The Lights. Andreas Fjellheim has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andreas Fjellheim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Ruthless! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruthless tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The fight moves into the clinch position. Fjellheim drags the fight down to the ground.
Fjellheim keeping moving, preventing Ruthless from controlling successfully. Fjellheim escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ruthless gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ruthless with a flurry of punches that miss. Fjellheim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fjellheim has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ruthless is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fjellheim. Fjellheim is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruthless looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Ruthless is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fjellheim is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Fjellheim is not content to let Ruthless control the position. Fjellheim tries to buck Ruthless off but Ruthless is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ruthless decides to take the fight back to the feet. Ruthless gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ruthless stalls. Ruthless misses with a knee strike.
Ruthless gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Fjellheim tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fjellheim blocks an uppercut.
Fjellheim drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Fjellheim tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ruthless smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andreas Fjellheim. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fjellheim fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Ruthless misses with a takedown and Fjellheim counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fjellheim wants to pass to mount but Ruthless is defending the position. Fjellheim looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ruthless manages to get to full guard.
Ruthless is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andreas Fjellheim dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Ruthless throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Fjellheim avoids the head kick by Ruthless.
Fjellheim tries for a takedown but Ruthless circles away easily and Ruthless counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ruthless. Ruthless wants to control from the top but Fjellheim keeps moving. Ruthless working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Fjellheim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fjellheim escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ruthless gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruthless pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fjellheim is keeping the position for now. Fjellheim can't keep his opponent in guard - Ruthless advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fjellheim tries to get to full guard but Ruthless has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ruthless is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Ruthless tries to stand and escape but Fjellheim is controlling the position. Fjellheim is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ruthless tries for a takedown but Fjellheim circles away easily and Fjellheim counters with a takedown into side control. Fjellheim has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Ruthless is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Fjellheim yanks on the arm and Ruthless is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Fjellheim.
