Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Haminall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Haminall comes to the cage accompanied by The Sound of Silence by Simon & Garfunkle. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Haminall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Miller! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller ducks under a wild hook from Haminall. Haminall keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miller. Miller tries to clinch but Haminall moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Miller shoots for a takedown but Haminall saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Matt Haminall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Miller. Haminall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Miller.
That's one minute gone in the round. A slow jab from Haminall misses its intended target. Nice takedown defense from Haminall. No joy for Miller on that attempt. Miller throws a lazy right hand but Haminall sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Miller throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mike Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Miller looks gassed! Haminall gets the takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller stops Haminall from passing to mount. Haminall taking a breather here. Haminall has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Miller is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Haminall asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haminall decides to stand back up. Miller moves away from the strike by Haminall. Miller ducks under a wild hook from Haminall. Miller uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Haminall. Miller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Miller looks to land a combination but Haminall avoids it well. Miller slips under a jab. Haminall misses with an uppercut. Miller closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Haminall loads up on a big right hand but Miller slips the punch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Haminall fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Haminall shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Haminall showed some decent athleticism there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Haminall dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Miller shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Miller misses with a jab, cross combination.
Haminall connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Haminall misses with a hook. Miller ducked under it nicely. That's one minute gone in the round. Miller is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mike Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Miller moves out of range as Haminall strikes. Haminall connects with a single shot there. Haminall throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Miller steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Haminall. Miller doesn't manage to clinch there - Haminall circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Haminall lands with a hook. Miller tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Miller tries to clinch but Haminall moves out of range. Haminall misses with a looping left. Miller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Haminall throws a shot from downtown. Miller moves away and avoids it. Haminall thows a left - swing and a miss! Haminall misses with a straight left. Miller shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Haminall missing with a left hand there. Miller was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Haminall waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Miller.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miller moves out of range as Haminall strikes. Miller uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Haminall. Haminall misses with a looping right. Haminall missing with a left hand there. Miller was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Miller moves in looking to clinch but Haminall pushes him off. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Miller slips under a jab from Haminall. Haminall misses with a straight right. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Haminall dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Miller bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Miller steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Haminall. Haminall stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Miller tries to bum rush Haminall with a series of wild strikes but Haminall uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Miller throws a series of punches but Haminall moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Miller misses with a takedown and Haminall counters with a takedown into side control. Miller takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miller is trying to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Haminall happy to just control the position for now. Haminall stands up. Miller walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Miller slips a straight right by Haminall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haminall waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Miller. A big left from Haminall misses. Nice shot by Haminall. Haminall misses with a straight left. Haminall misses with a straight left. Jab, jab by Haminall - just one landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haminall bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Miller's head. Haminall misses with a hook. Haminall is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Miller. Haminall looks to land a right hand but Miller moved out of range. Mike Miller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Matt Haminall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Miller slips a jab from Haminall. Miller steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Haminall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Haminall scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Haminall misses with a straight left. Miller takes one on the button. Miller slips a jab from Haminall. Haminall throws a good cross that connects.

And that's the end of the fight! Matt Haminall showed his dominance in that final round. Well Haminall has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
