Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby TupperII (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Smith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
27 - 33 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby TupperII! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! TupperII shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily. Smith tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but TupperII swivels and escapes. Smith clinches with his opponent.
TupperII is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Smith gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. TupperII fails to pull guard.
Paul Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby TupperII. Smith is trying to drag TupperII to the mat but TupperII just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Smith definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. TupperII fails to pull the fight into his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. TupperII will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
TupperII looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before TupperII has time to react.
It looks like Bobby TupperII has been cut. TupperII tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smith defends well and TupperII ends up having to push Smith into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Smith throws a head kick but TupperII moves out of range.
TupperII shoots in for a takedown but Smith shows good takedown defense. Smith doesn't succeed with the takedown and TupperII counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Smith shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts TupperII as he jumps to the side. Smith tries to clinch but TupperII moves out of range. Smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Smith tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but TupperII defends well and Smith ends up having to push TupperII into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Smith tries to clinch and TupperII counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Smith! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Both fighters take a look at the clock. Smith tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. TupperII working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw TupperII working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Smith gets back to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. TupperII is working for a submission of some sort.
TupperII looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Smith is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith trying to control but TupperII postures up.
Smith looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Smith tries to kick TupperII off but TupperII keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. TupperII is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Smith has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. TupperII is looking for a kimura but Smith is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for TupperII to get the leverage. Smith is controlling TupperII's position as best he can from this difficult position. TupperII tries to pass to full mount but Smith defends it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Smith is not content to let TupperII control the position. Smith on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smith tries to get out of the position. TupperII is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
TupperII is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Smith as he works his way to full guard.
TupperII looks winded! Smith looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Smith looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. TupperII stands up from Smith's guard - TupperII perhaps looking for a knockout. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. TupperII tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smith swivels and escapes. Smith changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. TupperII goes for a double leg but Smith avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Smith continues to drive forward. Horrible takedown attempt by Smith or perhaps it was just good defense by TupperII, which made it look bad. And TupperII tries to counter it with a takedown but Smith pushes his down on his head and steps out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bobby TupperII will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Bobby TupperII's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from TupperII is defended easily by Smith. Paul Smith is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. TupperII fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Smith shoots in for a double leg but TupperII sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Smith moves into the clinch. Smith looking for a takedown. Smith wants a takedown but no success here.

TupperII dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. TupperII is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Smith doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time TupperII. TupperII is breathing heavily. TupperII trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Smith looking for the choke but no joy. TupperII is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith has good solid back control here. Smith punches the canvas rather than the man. TupperII tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Smith looking to finish with strikes here!
Smith pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. TupperII looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight. TupperII is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Smith looking to control but TupperII is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Smith dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Bobby TupperII's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Smith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. TupperII looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Smith wants to control but TupperII is keeping him busy. Smith is trying to get an arm triangle but TupperII is defending well. Smith wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by TupperII, who protects the arm well. Smith tries to move into full mount but can't pass TupperII's legs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. TupperII defending against the ground and pound. Paul Smith overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

TupperII is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Smith performing his best blanket impression for a moment. That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. TupperII is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. TupperII is still trying to improve position. TupperII has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smith is working away from the top position though. TupperII is holding on to half guard well. TupperII takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Smith prevents TupperII from standing back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Smith tries to clinch up. Smith fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Smith darts in and clinches TupperII up against the cage. Smith can't get the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. TupperII is trying to maintain a safe position but Smith gets an underhook and turns TupperII into the cage. Smith gets control of TupperII's arms and successfully pulls guard. Smith will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Smith is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Smith looking to hit a scissor sweep but TupperII is one step ahead there. Smith trying to keep a closed guard but TupperII is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Smith keeping full guard, as TupperII tries to pass. Smith wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Smith tries to clinch but TupperII is having none of it. Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but TupperII swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. TupperII fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Smith swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. TupperII drives through with a takedown into Smith's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. TupperII stopping the sweep attempt from Smith. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Smith is adopting a defensive guard. TupperII has gone for a leg lock! Smith slips out almost immediately though and dives into TupperII's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Paul Smith showed his dominance in that final round. I think Smith has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
