Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abu Papu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Koko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Papu comes to the cage accompanied by abu theme. Michael Koko will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Papu. Koko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Koko throws a series of punches but Papu avoids them all with ease.
Papu looks to land a combination but Koko avoids it well.
Koko takes one to the chin there.
Papu throws a body shot but no joy.

Papu throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Papu throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Papu dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Papu lands a two punch combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Koko is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Koko on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Koko tries to counter with a clinch but Papu shakes him off and moves away.

and Papu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Koko throws a head kick but Papu moves out of range.
Papu has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Koko.
A chopping leg kick lands by Koko.

Michael Koko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Koko looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Koko takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Koko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Papu circles away quickly and effectively.
Papu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Koko attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Koko has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Koko there as he acknowledges the shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Papu moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Koko is rocked!
Koko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Papu moves away.
Koko is still on wobbly legs! Can Papu finish him?

Koko tries to close the distance and clinch but Papu swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Koko counters with an inside leg kick.
Koko lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Koko tried to score with a low kick but Papu checks it.
Papu walks into a stiff left hand from Koko.
Koko throws a right hand that misses
and Papu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Oooooh!!! Papu has knocked Koko down with a huge combo! Papu steps away and waves a wobbly Koko back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Papu throws a big shot that misses.
Papu closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Koko! Papu dives in looking to finish! Koko is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Abu Papu!
After winning the bout, Abu Papu thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Michael Koko stepped up to the mic, saying 'Koko sad.'.
