Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evangelos Ergazakis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Veigne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evangelos Ergazakis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Veigne! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ergazakis misses with a head kick.
Veigne is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Ergazakis gets a clinch. Ergazakis connects with a nasty looking knee right to Veigne's face.
Veigne tries to break free but Ergazakis pushes him back against the cage. Ergazakis works on Veigne's body with a couple of short punches. Ergazakis is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Ergazakis using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Veigne has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Veigne breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Ergazakis counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Ergazakis scores with a shoulder strike. I was talking to Ergazakis's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Ergazakis has picked Veigne up - he's going for a ride! Ergazakis dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ergazakis missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ergazakis looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ergazakis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Veigne defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Ergazakis is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Ergazakis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Veigne defends it well. Veigne blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ergazakis. Veigne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ergazakis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ergazakis is taking a breather. Veigne says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Ergazakis is working for a submission of some sort.

Ergazakis moves into full mount! Veigne won't be happy about that! Ergazakis with a couple of short strikes. Veigne is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ergazakis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Veigne is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ergazakis is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Veigne can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Ergazakis is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Veigne can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Veigne holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Ergazakis tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ergazakis is working for a guillotine from mount but Veigne frees his head quite easily.
Ergazakis misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ergazakis lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Veigne hang on? Ergazakis looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ergazakis is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Veigne is forced to tap! Great finish!
