The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz scores with a decent looking hook.
Badger has his takedown stuffed
and Diaz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Badger tries to clinch there but Diaz circles away.
Diaz lands a lovely overhand right.
Diaz has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Badger is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Badger is breathing heavily.
Diaz lands with a shot to the body.
Badger fails with the takedown
and Diaz counters with a huge left! Badger is in big trouble! He's backing up but Diaz isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Badger from any more damage. A dominating finish by Diaz!
