The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Aoki as Penda shoots in.
Penda tries to clinch but Aoki is having none of it.
Penda with a lazy takedown attempt
and Aoki counters with a shoot takedown. Penda fights it but they end up in guard.
Penda is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Aoki dives into side control.
Aoki passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Penda!
Aoki scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Aoki tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Aoki is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Penda is rocked!
