Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Corey Parkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buzz Meeks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parkin comes into the arena with AFI - Miseria Cantare blaring out of the sound system. Corey Parkin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Buzz Meeks's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Corey Parkin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buzz Meeks!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parkin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Parkin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Meeks.
Crunch! Meeks slams his shin into Parkin's torso.
Meeks throws a low kick, looking for Parkin's leg but Parkin calmly moves out of range.
Meeks lands a nice hook to Parkin's body. Parkin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Meeks shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Parkin is looking to clinch.
Parkin tries to clinch there but Meeks circles away.
Parkin doesn't manage to clinch there - Meeks circles away.
Meeks looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Meeks has taken the fight to the clinch.
Parkin swings wildly with an uppercut but Meeks uses good head movement to avoid it.
A nice left hand lands by Meeks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Meeks breaks from the clinch.
Meeks avoids the head kick by Parkin.
Parkin tries to clinch up
and Meeks connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Corey Parkin has been cut.
Meeks lands a nice shot that snaps Parkin's head back.
That's one minute gone in the round.

and Meeks counters with a nice right hand that sends Parkin toppling to the canvas! Parkin scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Meeks finish him?!
Parkin is rocked!
Parkin tries to clinch but Meeks moves out of range.
Oh Parkin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Parkin walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Meeks swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
