Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Shane Wellman Iv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickon Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Rickon Reed was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shane Wellman Iv! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rickon Reed! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Reed finds it's way through Wellman Iv's defenses. Wellman Iv definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Wellman Iv closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Nice uppercut there from Reed. Reed misses with a wild combination.
Wellman Iv was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Reed throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Reed misses with a hook
and Wellman Iv counters with a stiff right hand. Reed connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Wellman Iv is rocked! Wellman Iv just misses with a punch to the body.
Reed rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Reed takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Reed uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wellman Iv. Reed is looking for the big counter here. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wellman Iv swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Reed now looks to counter with a shot at the body. A jab from Wellman Iv misses. It seemed like Reed was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Wellman Iv throws a lazy uppercut
and Reed makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Wellman Iv has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Reed finds it's way round the side to connect with Wellman Iv's head. Reed misses with a left hand and Wellman Iv counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wellman Iv misses with a looping right. A combination from Wellman Iv does no damage. Wellman Iv throws an overhand right that lands on Reed's shoulder, as Reed tries to avoid the shot. Reed swinging wildly here.
Wellman Iv lands with a straight right. Reed didn't see that one coming. Wellman Iv misses with a straight left. Reed lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wellman Iv circles away quickly and effectively. Reed scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Reed misses with a looping left. Reed drops Wellman Iv with a big left hand and mounts him. Wellman Iv is in big trouble! Oh Wellman Iv is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Reed lands a big shot to the head and Wellman Iv winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
