The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Offord cracks Paez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Paez gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Offord.
Offord lands a slapping body shot.
Offord lands a jab to Paez's midsection.
Paez takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Offord has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Paez is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Offord scores with a jab to the body.
Paez ducks right into an uppercut from Offord.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Offord, right into the meat.
Offord feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Paezs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

and Offord counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Paez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Offord's waist but Offord gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Paez off to one side.
Offord cracks a nice hook into Paez's ribs.

and Offord counters with a left to the body.
Offord lands a body shot.
Paez misses with a takedown attempt - Offord sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Offord moves into range and connects with a jab.

Offord jabs Paez right on the nose. Paez blinks but takes it well.
Paez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Offord counters with a right hand to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paez Paez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Eric Offord is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Paez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Offord fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Paez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Offord is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Paez rather than just go for the knockout.

Offord swats away the attempt to clinch by Paez.
It seemed like Offord was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Paez on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Paez looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Offord is fending him off so far but Paez persists. Nope, Offord circles away and we're back to standing.
Paez moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paez takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Offord lands a nice shot to the body.
Eric Offord seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Paez is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Offord.
Paez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Offord defends it nicely.

Oh Paez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Paez is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Offord just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Paez has gone limp and this one is over!

After the fight, Eric Offord was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
