Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Danny Underwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Cacuzza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Danny Underwood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anthony Cacuzza! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Underwood tries to clinch there but Cacuzza circles away.
Cacuzza throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Underwood drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cacuzza sprawls and moves away. Cacuzza looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Underwood! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Cacuzza tries to move to mount but Underwood blocks the move with his legs. Underwood sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Cacuzza looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Underwood tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cacuzza wants to lay and pray for a moment but Underwood keeps working. Cacuzza is looking for a kimura here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cacuzza tries to pass to full mount but Underwood defends it. Cacuzza not doing much here.
Underwood moves into full guard.
Cacuzza thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Underwood wants to sweep but no luck. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Underwood is on top in guard.

Cacuzza keeping moving, preventing Underwood from controlling successfully. Underwood throws a big elbow that misses. Underwood wants to stand but Cacuzza is controlling his posture from full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Underwood throws a one two combo.
Cacuzza clinches up against the cage. Cacuzza can't get the takedown.
Underwood tries to pull guard but Cacuzza holds him up against the cage and eventually Underwood drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Underwood being controlled against the cage. Cacuzza tries to pull guard but Underwood holds him up against the cage and eventually Cacuzza drops back down to his feet.
Underwood is trying to drag Cacuzza to the mat but Cacuzza just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Underwood. That's going to take a lot out of him. Underwood is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Cacuzza to keep the fight standing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Underwood wants the takedown. Cacuzza is fighting it off but Underwood persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Cacuzza's guard against the cage. Underwood wants to control from the top but Cacuzza keeps moving. Underwood tries to stand but Cacuzza is controlling from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Danny Underwood will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Nice sprawl there from Underwood as Cacuzza shoots in. Cacuzza is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Cacuzza is trying hard to land a takedown here. Underwood sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Underwood walks forward, straight into a front kick from Cacuzza. Cacuzza forces Underwood back against the cage and clinches. Underwood wants a takedown.
Cacuzza has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Cacuzza stops a takedown attempt from Underwood.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cacuzza throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Underwood changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Underwood gets the takedown into side control. Cacuzza throws Underwood to one side and escapes! Underwood lands with a nice body punch. Cacuzza swats away the attempt to clinch by Underwood. Cacuzza throws a head kick that half lands.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Underwood looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Underwood. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Cacuzza as Underwood shoots in. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Underwood tries for a takedown but Cacuzza circles away easily and Cacuzza counters with a three punch combo that has Underwood backing up. Underwood nods at Cacuzza to acknowledge the strikes. Cacuzza clinches with his opponent.
Underwood jumps guard but Cacuzza turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Cacuzza drags the fight down to the ground.

Underwood throws a strike but Cacuzza rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cacuzza gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Cacuzza closes the distance and pushes Underwood back into the cage. Underwood fails to pull the fight into his guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Underwood pulls guard. Cacuzza landing with the ground and pound. Underwood can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cacuzza controls the pace. Underwood is trying to control the position from the bottom.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Cacuzza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Cacuzza tries to clinch but Underwood is having none of it. Cacuzza closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Cacuzza tries for a kimura but Underwood is defending well. Underwood struggling a bit here. Cacuzza decides to take the fight back to the feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A combination from Underwood does no damage. Cacuzza gets a clinch. Underwood lands a hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cacuzza gets a trip takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Underwood is looking to improve his position.

Underwood regains half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cacuzza wants to take a breather but Underwood is having none of it. Nice strikes from Cacuzza there. Underwood trying to control from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Underwood is looking for a sweep. Cacuzza is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cacuzza tries to pass the half guard into mount. Underwood knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Underwood trying to control from the bottom.
Cacuzza thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Cacuzza is controlling the pace.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Underwood is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cacuzza throws a body punch but Underwood moves out of range. Underwood throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cacuzza was covering up waiting for the punch and Underwood finishes the takedown easily into guard. Cacuzza wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Underwood manages to pass to side control. Cacuzza is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Underwood thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Cacuzza wants to get back to full guard but Underwood has passed into side control. Underwood wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cacuzza keeps working. Underwood working the ground and pound from side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cacuzza gets back to half guard. It looks like Underwood is going to stand back up.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Anthony Cacuzza. Well Cacuzza has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
