Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Poole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Will Poole!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roy Palmer!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poole swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Poole comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Poole has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Wolf Training Lair in the buildup to the fight.

Poole uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Palmer has time to react.
Palmer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Palmer's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Poole throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Poole bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Poole just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
