Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Quinten Ely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerzy Gajdek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinten Ely has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quinten Ely!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerzy Gajdek!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ely tries for a takedown but Gajdek sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gajdek tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ely sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gajdek somewhat.
Ely goes for a double leg but Gajdek avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gajdek continues to drive forward.
Gajdek tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ely defends well and Gajdek ends up having to push Ely into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ely went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Gajdek shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ely pinned against the cage. Ely gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Quinten Ely has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerzy Gajdek.
Ely darts in looking for a takedown but Gajdek gets double underhooks and turns Ely into the cage.
Ely throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ely slaps away a takedown attempt from Gajdek, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ely clinches.
Gajdek has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ely after a bit of a struggle.
Ely pulls guard effortlessly.
Gajdek is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Gajdek drops back looking for a leg! Ely is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ely manages to kick Gajdek off! Gajdek jumps back into Ely's guard.

Gajdek trying to control the position from guard on top but Ely is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ely wants to stand but Gajdek is controlling the position.

Gajdek drops back looking for a leg! Ely is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ely manages to kick Gajdek off! Gajdek jumps back into Ely's guard.
Gajdek stops Ely from standing up.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Ely manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Ely jumps guard and drags Gajdek to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Gajdek thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ely can't keep his opponent in guard - Gajdek advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Ely knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gajdek on the ground.
Ely tries to roll over but Gajdek keeps him under control.
Ely might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gajdek is keen to just control but Ely is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ely tries to kick Gajdek off but Gajdek keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Gajdek keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Gajdek is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Ely is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

After winning the bout, Jerzy Gajdek thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
