Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velvet doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Trust counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Velvet!
Trust is staying tight to Velvet's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Trust tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Velvet can't do much from the bottom here.
Velvet is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Trust's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Trust seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Trust is nestled in close to Velvet, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Velvet tries to roll over but Trust keeps him under control.

Velvet wants to control but Trust is keeping busy.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Trust connects with a couple of short punches.
Trust must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Velvet looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Trust controlling from the top position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Velvet is on top in guard.
Velvet won't allow Trust to sweep him here.
Velvet wants to get up but he can't break Trust's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Trust is pulling down on Velvet's head to control his posture.
Trust really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Velvet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Velvet shoots in for a takedown but Trust shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Velvet swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Trust counters with a single leg into guard. Velvet didn't expect that.

Trust avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Velvet lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Velvet throws a big right hand that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Percival Velvet will probably get the nod.
That's time! Velvet's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Velvet closes the distance but Trust moves to the side
and Trust decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Velvet's guard.
Trust won't allow Velvet to get back to his feet.

Velvet escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Trust gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Velvet will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Trust is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Velvet has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Trust should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Velvet has tightened it up now! Trust should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
