0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anthony Pettis! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pettis throws a hook but McGregor avoids it easily. A slow jab from McGregor misses its intended target. Pettis on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. McGregor cracks Pettis with an open hand slap. Pettis misses the shot to the body. Pettis drives through and clinches with McGregor against the ropes.
McGregor throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Pettis blocks it with crossed arms. McGregor tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. In defeat, Conor McGregor stepped up to the mic, saying 'A loss is a loss luckily I have a great coach is Jon Kavnagh and we will come back stronger. Believe that!'.
