The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rowling shoots in for a double leg but One sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
One throws a fast counter high kick but Rowling manages to duck under it in time.
Rowling tries to clinch but One moves out of range.
One shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rowling manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
One trying to stand up but can't free himself from Rowling's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
One stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rowling swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jaxson Rowling overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Rowling looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks One with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
