The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Permitis looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Bosh actively working from the bottom here.
Permitis moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Bosh.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Permitis is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bosh is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bosh tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Bosh keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bosh manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Bosh moves into full guard.
Permitis stopping the sweep attempt from Bosh.

Permitis decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bosh, up you get!
Permitis misses with a takedown
and Bosh connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Francois Permitis has been cut.
Permitis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bosh manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bosh looking to hit a scissor sweep but Permitis is one step ahead there.
Permitis wants to control from the top but Bosh keeps moving.
Bosh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Permitis manages to get himself to full guard.
Bosh has gone for a leg lock! Permitis slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bosh's guard.

Permitis drops back looking for a leg! Bosh is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bosh manages to kick Permitis off! Permitis jumps back into Bosh's guard.

Bosh had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Permitis defends it easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bosh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Permitis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Permitis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bosh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Permitis appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Permitis closes the distance and clinches up with Bosh, looking for a takedown. Permitis pushes Bosh against the cage but Bosh circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Permitis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bosh wants to sweep here but Permitis controlling him for the moment.

Bosh looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bosh has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Permitis should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bosh has tightened it up now! Permitis should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
