Parker's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The House of The Rising Sun - The Animals. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Corey Parker!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
22 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Felipe Calderon!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker tests Calderon's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Calderon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parker as he jumps to the side.
A combination from Parker does no damage.
Calderon throws a head kick that misses
and Parker counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Calderon has a takedown stuffed.
Parker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Parker drops Calderon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Calderon looks back up at him and smiles so Parker waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Parker misses with a double jab.
Calderon misses with a straight right.
A quick step to the side and Parker tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Calderon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Calderon lands a jab to the nose.
Parker lands a big uppercut and Calderon crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Calderon looks OK. Parker waves Calderon back to his feet!
Parker cracks Calderon with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Calderon falls to his knees and Parker doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Corey Parker!
Corey Parker retains his heavyweight title!
During a confident post fight interview, Corey Parker thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
