Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damron Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damron Davidson!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Frost counters with a shoot takedown. Davidson fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frost throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Davidson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Frost slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Davidson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Frost off and has taken his back!
Frost tries to escape but Davidson has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Frost has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Frost rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Frost is pressing down on Davidson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Frost has his foot on Davidson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Davidson works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Davidson trying to control the position from guard on top but Frost is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Frost controls Davidson momentarily but Davidson frees himself.
Davidson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Davidson takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davidson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Davidson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Frost to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Davidson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Frost pulls down on the head and he's put Davidson to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Chris Frost!
